The Night of Ascension (Isra and Mi’raj) is the miraculous night when Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is believed to have traveled from Mecca to Jerusalem (Isra) and ascended to the heavens (Mi’raj) where he received instructions from Allah about the five daily prayers.
